It was my second year covering the Toy Drive with the folks from XS and Tryst nightclubs.  Seeing all the toys and donations made me want to do more to give back in the community on a regular basis. Since then, Future M3dia Group Vice President Michael Sartain has led a consistent, weekly effort to support the largest food bank in Nevada with food donations and volunteers which have served hundreds of families in need.

Every year the staff of XS and Tryst Nightclubs donate a portion of their income for the annual toydrive with 98.5KLUC. The mayor of Las Vegas Caroline Goodman declared this XS & Tryst day to show appreciation for the record $172,000.00 raised to by toys to be donated as holiday gifts for the under-privileged.

This year, December 5 was declared “XS and Tryst Day” by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman.

Every year, the staff from XS and Tryst make a remarkable donation to the KLUC Annual Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo Toy Drive to assist HELP of Southern Nevada.

Last year’s donation of toys, worth more than $171,000, was a record-setting feat, but the team’s contribution this year reached $173,000, bringing the total donations to more than a half million dollars in toys given over the past seven years to the children of Southern Nevada.

Sancho Van Ryan and the Viva Vegas TV team was on hand to capture the action.
